A group of 20 of us travel to Agua Prieta, Mexico, twice a year (spring and fall) to build homes for impoverished Mexican families. We leave Phoenix late Friday afternoon and arrive in Douglas, Arizona, Friday evening. We divide into work teams; the blue team is the most coveted team. We work all day Saturday, then return to Douglas for a shower, an excellent meal, and a good night's sleep. We return to Agua Prieta on Sunday for a half day of work and return to Douglas to pack and leave. We get back to Phoenix early Sunday evening. No special skills are needed, just a willingness to help others. We work hard but get much more in return. It is a life changing trip. Come join us and help others.
