Step One

God’s Purpose: Peace & Eternal Life

Perhaps you’ve seen the now famous John 3:16 sign. What this Bible verse says is:

"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."

A little after that, we read:

"…we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ."

Romans 5:1

and then…

"…the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Romans 6:23b

Since God planned for us to be at peace with Him and to have eternal life, why are many people NOT enjoying this experience?
