God’s Remedy: The Cross

Jesus Christ is the only answer to this problem of separation from God. He died on the cross and rose from the grave to pay the penalty for our sin—completely bridging the gap between us and God.

The Bible Says:

"But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

Romans 5:8

"Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under Heaven given to men by which we must be saved."

"…God is on one side and all the people on the other side, and Christ Jesus, Himself man, is between them to bring them together…"

"I tell you the truth, whoever hears My word (Jesus) and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life."

Instead, we must trust what Christ has "Done", not what we can "do".

"Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of highest privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory."

Romans 5:1, 2 NLT

God has provided the only way…and we must make the choice…
